Dr Izelle Labuschagne is the Founder and Director of Complete Thesis Support (CTS), a global mentoring community supporting PhD and research students to complete their thesis with clarity, confidence, and direction.
She is an accomplished neuroscientist and researcher with over 20 years of experience across academia, having led large-scale, multi-million dollar multidisciplinary research projects and contributed to high-impact publications, including work featured in leading journals such as Nature and The Lancet. Her work has taken her around the world, including keynote presentations and media features.
Izelle is also an experienced PhD examiner and has served as both panel member and chair across numerous research milestone reviews. She brings deep insight into what distinguishes strong, examiner-ready work, alongside a practical understanding of the challenges students face throughout the thesis journey.
Known for her clarity, structure, and grounded approach, Izelle has supported many research students to successful completion, including PhD candidates who have passed without corrections.
